  1. Jan – catching up on your posts. Wanted to say hello. Loved your backyard photos of the aloe.

I have only been reading your blog for about 3-4 months, so don’t have the history on your perspective concerning bifurcation. Does bifurcation occur for you when a piece of your life is forever changed because of MS?

    • That seems like as good as a definition as any nowadays. It actually started as sort of a joke. One of my good friends is married to one of the smartest brains I know. He speaks so many languages (English is like his third or forth?), very well published in his field, and is the sweetest guy. I was reading one of his thesis’s – something to do with thermal fluid science, ocean water salinity , and gosh knows what else. Anyways, I got about half way through and for the life of me I so could not remember what the heck bifurcation was LOL.

It was a moment that neither one of them will ever let me forget – embarrassment 101.

When we got back from our visit with them in Mississippi I started this blog. To make fun of myself I used Bifurcate in the title. They got quite a kick out of it. Since ya never know what tangent I will take of with it seemed to fit.

Now MS does have me going two different directions at the same time – just another fork in the road . ..
