  1. So, let’s see, you’ve got TV, antenna, surround sound, DVD player, Xbox… How about the microwave, to make popcorn? But that would need another remote 🙂

    • Microwave! LOL I think I am running out of power plug-ins. Catfish does have some scooby snacks hidden in a dresser drawer though.

I do have another remote really I do!

  2. I love the juxtaposition of this technoland on top of Grandma’s old trunk.

It is odd seeing people who haven’t seen you for a while. One gets brief glimpses of how other’s see you in their eyes and expectations. I’m not looking forward to the first time I see my sis again as I was functioning way better at Christmas compared to now.

It’s also amazing, at least for me, to realize how much my ability to function is based on not deviating from my little routines and pacing throughout the day. I understand my grandmother better every day. GRR.

    • Oh, yeah, is there such a thing as a universal remote for that mess?

Although, I bought a universal once but never could successfully program it even though I only have two remotes. :0

Or you could keep them all and consider it neurocognitive therapy by successfully using them every day!

    • It thought of how old the trunk was when I decided to put the tele on it. Gosh I know she used it in the late 20’s maybe earlier as she moved from Oregon (where trunk was made) during WW1 to work as a telegraph operator in Washington. Heck she lived to a good age of 104 so lots of history there.

Yeah, seeing someone after a time is kind of a in my face reminder of what has changed with me – usually for the worse 🙂 I so need my routines and my space!! Neurocognitive therapy now that is one big word!
