    • Yes, this year I suspect that it will rise higher. Our levee’s are in bad shape so here is to hoping they hold if it rises higher.

  1. Yow! That’s a lot of water! Last time we were down that way – let’s see, that would’ve been May, 2008 – Shasta was waaay down. Must look like a different place when it’s full up.

I’ve been catching up on recent posts. Happy belated birthday, and congratulations on the new computer ! Yah, I like reading about somebody else’s hardware adventures, as long as I’ve got a computer to read them on : )

    • It seems to be the era of the need for new computers. At least this time I did not “need” one!

Shasta is at capacity – maybe we will get up there and I can take some pics. The rivers are moving fast – lots of water – in 2008 we were crying about not having enough. Mother Nature is busy this year.

How are all your hardware thingies doing?

  2. “It’s raining and the river is rising” — hey that’s my theme song. Well, ok, ok it actually didn’t rain today and it’s only the flood area of the creek that I live in. The Shasta pics are amazing.

Water, it’s so political on so many angles. Hadn’t hear the term Blue Gold before but that’s what it is and will continue to be. It’s so competitive in Colorado and other arid areas. And, where my parents live a lot of the rare water used for shale gas extraction techniques and then subject to contamination by the process. Yeah, blue gold.
