Challenge and a Road Trip!

Ok since someone (Sherri at Messy Mind – go check it out)  blogged about our weekly challenge game I guess I shall put my submissions up.  I so would never anything in the kitchen as a theme because well, my dang kitchen is not always ready for prime time ;).

so here are my two pics one color and one black and white (must we go there again mono chrome yes but it was agreed black and white LOL)

The only other news is that KRP, Mikey, and I went to San Francisco today. I have been hunting for a new camera case and finding nothing in Sac we decided that what was called for was a”Road Trip”.  I have some of my usual out the car window shots and some niffty shots to pick from for the next challenge bra hahahahahh!

I found the bag I have been looking at online but did not buy online because -first off I truly believe in supporting businesses that are local or close to me anyways and two I hate buying anything with out seeing in person 🙂 first.  I am happy to finally found a great bag. One that my fumble fingers can work the closures on, it is constructed well, and the interiour is bright yellow-orange so I can see stuff in it – woot! Oh yeah – it capable of handling a bunch o gear  but small enough that I will not bring too much with me – shh Sherri I dun wanna hear it. We had lunch at Delancey Street as we usually do and then went to Ocean Beach.  And then it rained, the wind came up, and it rained a bit more. Had a  great time, annoyed a few seagulls and so forth and then headed home. It took over 3 and a half hours to cover a hour and half trip.  Glad we did not stick around for the sunset.

  1. glad you found a bag that you like… sometimes it can very hard to find the things that are just right and have all the required features…. and a road trip is always an added benefit… any excuse for a road trip!

    i have some ideas for the challenge but they are so obvious lol don’t know why i don’t want obvious… but that’s probably what you’re gonna get ha

    • In fairness you mentioned the kitchen affair first. It was not the theme so much as the fact that neither one of us wanted to clean our dang kitchens.

      I am glad the bag hunt is over!

      Don’t forget this weeks theme I thought it was a good one?

      • oh i think the theme for this week is a great one! it requires a bit of thinking and a different sort of observation….

        my kitchen is finally getting to be in a bit better order lol i have been working on it some today… living in such a small place makes it easy to get really really cluttered! i’ve spent this morning so far trying to get a bit more organized….getting rid of what we don’t use, or packing it up to go to our storage building… but progress is being made…
