All I have to say about tonight is Ouch! This is a composite I pieced together just cause.
I take my truck Monday to find out what all is damaged on it and get the estimates. I have to call my agent and see if I am stuck with a deductable because the dingbat had no insurance. Then I have to go to DMV and file some form. I have to somehow get an appointment at Kaiser – this means getting up no later than 6 in the morning so I have half a chance of being seen.
I usually do not use my rental coverage but this time I just might.
I sure hope that the idgit that hit me is having a miserable time without her car. I know this is not really nice but I do not care. Because she had no insurance or registration the young gal and I get to pay with extra headaches. I do not know how insurance companies work this type of thing out but either I or the other gal or both of us will have to pay our deductables. I do not have a deductable on theft fire vandalism but am not sure on the uninsured. I will know on Monday.
The other young lady has to get to school and work without a vehicle. So not only does she have to study for her college classes and work to make ends meet – she now has to use puplic transportation. And that takes a lot of time out of your day.
Somehow I do not think that the idgit is giving either one of us a second of her thoughts. She stated before she left that it was all the other gals fault. Yeah ha ha – it was her car under the back of my truck. The other gal hit her after she hit me but according to her it was our fault. The reason she had no registration was her friends fault. The reason she had no proof of insurance was her kids fault. The whole darn accident was everybody elses fault.
I am so sick of peoples inability to be accountable for their own actions. They refuse to accept the consequences of their own actions. I imagine the reason she left the scene before the police showed up was someone elses fault too.
Ok- now my mind feels better.
