Dah pictures of Dah Salmon

Ok Billy,

Here you can see the largest salmon. As you can tell – it is all I can do to hold it up. I have a nicer picture of Bonnie, Rae and myself where I held the mid sized one and Rae held the larger one – cause I could not hold it all the way up so you could see it so-

Here is the one that was a bit over 30pds

30pd+ salmon

Please note that the above pic was taken later on in the evening. The fish holder is tired, sunburned, and about ready to drop the fish!

Here is the better one showing all three fish after we cleaned them:

The three fish of the day

Rae was the only one that could hold the fish up long enough to take a picture ๐Ÿ™‚

So Billy and Brandon – want to go fishing again – we know the right spot right now . …

Hee hee Brandon – eat your heart out (just kiddin).

The Pesky Little Dot

Sometimes the obvious is not obvious. I have spent a lot of time searching the css code in k2 looking for the reason my links in my sidebar with the heading worhty places had a stupid dot in front of it. Augh. DrumNWhistles comments on my previous post reinforced my search for the illusive li or style class. I even searched the code in the sidebar widgets plugin thinking maybe it created a redundant li type thing.

Well, after searching the code again it dawns on me – yes – slow one that I am – that in the k2 sidebar options I had a “links” categorie block and four other “linkblocks”. DUH… I was using the old one “Links” and not the new ones that appeared after I loaded the sidebar widgets plugin.

Years ago after the death of a friend her son gave me her IBM286. I had a Commador something 64 at the time. I turned on the IBM and all there was on the screen was c:\. UMmm… I used Fortran in college so I typed in format(x,x) something along those lines anyway. The nice computer responded that I used the wrong form. Ummm so I tried various forms of format statements until I hit the jackpot – format – yes this nice computer responded are you sure? Well I was not sure but it was the only response the black screen had given me so – yep I pressed YES. LOL ๐Ÿ™

I ended up buying DOS for the IBM and a book. Tonight the little dot controlled by css was my c:\ .

And for all you K2 and css style geeks out there – how do I get rid of the pesty little dot in front of my links list “worthy places” ? Yes, I know it is there in the code somewhere but where oh where did the little dot come from …………

Another Day Bites The Dust

Just a quick post to mark this place in time where I am still breathing in and breathing out. ๐Ÿ™‚

Been busy doing nothing important to anyone other than me, my dogs, friends, . ..
