Not that much exciting going on around here.
Still chasing ants, ants, and more, ANTS!
Attended a group Christmas Party this weekend. Last year I roamed about taking photos and chatting it up with old friends and acquaintances. This year there were about 250 people and way to many kids. Kids are great – don’t get me wrong – but some kids left unattended can and were little pains in the arse.
I spent the time trying not to become slamed into the table by the the unruley kid behind me as he continued to smash into my chair. Then one trip (I took the long way along the edge of the room so I had a wall about) to use the facilities a kid ran into me and as I almost saved myself from hitting the ground he got me again. As my partner saved me from falling the kid ran off laughing.
Where were the parents? Ignoring their kids that is for sure :(. Thanks all you little brats for pointing out to me that a year ago I could have chased you around and this year I was lucky not to fall on my arse. The ants behave better than you.
I seem to have caught a cold or something too – yuk yuk.
So I spend the day on the couch sleeping and playing the Indiana Jones Lego game.
Put my friends wedding pics on a disc and used the lightscribe feature to put a neat pic pf them leaving the Church on the front of it. So, they can send it to his family.
So exciting NO? Well of to read and fall back sleep.
And – watch the ants . …

Might want to be careful with generic household ant sprays. First of all I’m not in the pest control business I just have been through this several times. When you see ants in your house that is typically less than 1-5% of the total volume of ants. The rest stay in the nest that is typically located in a wall, roof or attic. We have had huge success with a professional pest control company (Orkin, etc) when we have had this problem. They do these 3 prong approach tactic where they bait for both the inside and outside of the house and they spray the foundation of the house to prevent further anys from entering. Just FYI.

Karla,
Thank you for visiting and your reply.
My main problem is the ants are now only coming in from a common wall of our townhouse. The neighbor is not open to doing anything on their side and the association is not spraying right now to save money ๐
These are the neighbors from %$#&. I am going to bring it up at our next association board meeting and try and force the issue as they can gain access to their yard legally and spray.
We have stopped the intrusion from all directions except their backyard wall that is our kitchen wall. I am assuming that my six legged buddies have a city along the foundation over there.
I guess I will start naming them.
