After six years the Mars rover Spirit while still alive has been trapped in a sand trap named Troy. If the little gal does not get out before the Martian winter sets in – well, it is a sad day for the little bot.  If Spirit is not able to be positioned so the  the  solar panels tilt toward the sun  and collect power for heat to survive the severe Martian winter – oh well it saddens me.  The robot’s mission reminds me of the story of the little engine that could . …
