Decisions

f/10, 1/6 sec, at 130mm, 250 ISO, on a NIKON D7000Life is full of decisions. Sometimes we make great ones and looking back some were bad. Right from the womb are we thinking let me back into my comfort zone or did we haul out screaming here I come universe? Decisions.

Good or bad they shape our lives –do our decision alter our destiny? Crap happens along the road of life. People disappoint, die, get injured, have bad luck but what we decide to do about these events really is huge. It is the stuff I have no control over that really messes up gig. Becoming disabled would be one of those.

Decisions. Maybe it was the house I did not buy waiting for a better deal, the car that turned out to be lemon, if I had turned left and not right? Decisions.

Some of us might decided to go out and eat dinner while other might choose to use the money to by groceries. Do I buy a new book to read or do I choose from the offerings at the local thrift store? Can I wait till that new (fill in the blank) goes on sale, do I really need it? Decisions.

To me it is obvious – circumstances do not always allow a decision. So I am not saying that everything that happens is a result of personal decisions made. But really, if you decided to do something and one the consequences is you do not get to do or have something else – why complain about it? I do – not really sure why as logically it makes no sense to. Decisions.

We all make decisions. Good or bad we make them. I have mad many bad ones and once in awhile I make a good one. Looking back the if only I had . … oh well, here I am universe and what an adventure I am having!

Challenge and a Road Trip!

Ok since someone (Sherri at Messy Mind – go check it out)  blogged about our weekly challenge game I guess I shall put my submissions up.  I so would never anything in the kitchen as a theme because well, my dang kitchen is not always ready for prime time ;).

so here are my two pics one color and one black and white (must we go there again mono chrome yes but it was agreed black and white LOL)

The only other news is that KRP, Mikey, and I went to San Francisco today. I have been hunting for a new camera case and finding nothing in Sac we decided that what was called for was a”Road Trip”.  I have some of my usual out the car window shots and some niffty shots to pick from for the next challenge bra hahahahahh!

I found the bag I have been looking at online but did not buy online because -first off I truly believe in supporting businesses that are local or close to me anyways and two I hate buying anything with out seeing in person 🙂 first.  I am happy to finally found a great bag. One that my fumble fingers can work the closures on, it is constructed well, and the interiour is bright yellow-orange so I can see stuff in it – woot! Oh yeah – it capable of handling a bunch o gear  but small enough that I will not bring too much with me – shh Sherri I dun wanna hear it. We had lunch at Delancey Street as we usually do and then went to Ocean Beach.  And then it rained, the wind came up, and it rained a bit more. Had a  great time, annoyed a few seagulls and so forth and then headed home. It took over 3 and a half hours to cover a hour and half trip.  Glad we did not stick around for the sunset.
