Yes Spring might just be here! The Poppies are blooming! Between my macro lens, the speedlights, and the State Flower – I have gone poppy crazy! Yes, it started so innocently just a few amongst the Lupine off the side of the road.
Looking almost like a page from a Fairytale. But, it was late in the day and they were all closed up preparing for the night. This leaves only one alternative – to go again earlier in the day. So, now I have a hard drive full of poppy shots. Too many! LOL I think I will move onto gummy bears . ..

It really is a pain getting poppies right! I might get there yet LOL if the wind stop blowing. I have to find another spot with poppies. I was ever so careful not to ever cross a fence where it was posted No Entrance Wildlife Area. In fact I went to great pains staying up on the roadway and not touching foot onto those posted lands. What I totally missed – as pointed out by the very nice police officer that pulled up behind my truck (parked off on the side of the roadway on a small paved patch) when he called me over to his passenger rear window was the lovely sign right in front of my truck – yep you guessed it “NO PARKING ANYTIME” !! LOL I can be such an idiot at times 😉
