Snow Geese - 01-27-2008Well, I have put on my super duper hiking socks, gotten my feet into my Asolo hiking boots, loaded up the camera bag, and grabbed the tripod.  KRP has hollered those famous words – no not gentlemen start your engines – but “road trip”! Yipee!!

So we are headed to gas the truck  and then to Gray lodge where there is a wildlife refuge we have not been to in years. I captured a snow goose over head the other day so I am hopeful that there might be some at Gray Lodge. Never know what birds will be there. I am also hopeful that my little feet and legs will hold up to the adventure.

Wish us luck as hope springs eternal . …

I have always been intrigued by patterns. Mathematical patterns such as Fibonacci Spiral nature, the movement of the plants and stars, the weather, earthquakes, and patterns of light and shadow.  I like to just sit somewhere and find them – ok nerd.

Nothing else tonight other than a a few snaps from the other night.

 

 

 

 

Sutro Baths

A few folks have shown and interest in the ruins in San Francisco. They are what is left of the Sutro Baths. Here is a video with a short history of the Sutro baths and then some historic photos and video clip of what the place was.
