The Tail of the Mouse
Gosh almighty trying to make computer use easier for me kind of started . …
Last week my stupid computer mouse (yes I know it is an inanimate object) fell off the back of my desk one to many times. I will admit right here that this part is all me: I use a mouse upside down – always have – always will. I know the buttons are suppose to go on top so right is right and left is left but you know what? I can not work it that way. My up is down and my down is up. An explanation why this is so – first time I used a mouse I had never ever seen one. No one in the room knew how to use one so I started using it and well . … or how about I read books upside down sometimes and never notice? OK I am weird.
No matter what the reason, the wired mouse that came with my computer had a very short tail (cord) so when I turned it upside down it was close to the rear edge of the pull out thing on my desk. For whatever reason when it fell off the dang thing a couple of days ago I yelled at it and yanked it’s little tail out from the USB socket and was going to toss it out the second floor window until I opened the window and realized the screen was attached on the outside. I was very disappointed that I could not kill the little ratter m&^&^%. I chilled out a bit, plugged it’s arse back in by the tail and dealt.
Yesterday a trip to the store and I found a nice sized roller ball mouse. For whatever reason I can use them setting the right direction where the left button is the left and the right button is the right. Plus this one is wireless so I can place it where ever my little heart desires.
Guess what I am doing? Hint:
three blind mice, three blind mice,
see how they run, see how they run,
they all ran after the farmer’s wife
who cut off their . …
