After the trip to San Francisco my poor body was so tired! Did I get a day of rest? NOT LOL But, BW’s (Brandon’s dad) and his wife T. decided to spend a night here in our ever so not ready for company home. Good thing family looks past the mess eh.

Now having the new stove installed, it is bright white, make the old paint scheme in the kitchen look dull it seems. Or so I was told by T. I was like and your point? Well she says, it is outdated and looks dingy. Yea so? Well, oh happy,  joy, joy! they decided that T would stay the week here and help me sand, paint, and bring said dingy kitchen up to standard as a birthday present to me. I pretend that such things do not matter to me but it really was bugging me. I just so can no longer garner the enthusiasm needed to sand and paint. So yep, I am excited.

Trips to the local hardware store for paint and supplies and we were on the job.  Did you know that I needed a theme? Well, I gave into the idea and the new theme is Apples. Better than cow or chickens no?

Next post I will go into the nothing is as easy as it should be and how I actually took advantage of those offers of kind help that I have received through the years and never used.
