Life, Strokes, and Sometimes Feeling Real Stupid

There are just times where my brain goes into freeze mode. It really makes me feel stupid sometimes :).

Examples are:

  • reading something a zillion (exageration) times and not getting it.
  • being able to do something really well in a  familiar setting yet be unable to perform the same task in a unfamiliar setting.
  • Trying to come up with the right word and not finding it only to think of it hours later and go duh
  • Trying to say something and mixing up the endings of the words – like dog barking becomes doging bark LOL
  • Getting really tired all the time.

There are lots more but ya get the idea. Somedays I am completely unaware of my shortcomings and on other days, like today, they just seem to be painfully obvious. The strange thing about this is on the good days where I more “with it” are the days I am more cognizant of my deficits.

Ok done for now.

  1. Don’t feel stupid….it’s not worth it. 🙂

Another friend who did not have a stroke read the instructions a zillion times and didn’t follow them either. Lots of people just changed the rules to what they thought it should be since they were utterly confused by the original directions.

Therefore, you are in the majority on this one and are not to bang your head against this particular brick wall anymore.
