Tired of the Negative

Ok, all right, enough already! So what.  So twenty something terrorists  decided they were going to  blow up 20 airplanes simultaneously in the middle of the Atlantic some type of  liquid explosives in perfume, water, toothpaste? I have not a clue but don’t you think this living in fear has gone on a bit to long? I am tired of the constant reminders.  I am tired. I am tired of war, Iraq, Iran, Palestine, Israel, AIDS, Bird Flu, global, warming, gas price, drive by shootings, gangs, graffiti all over the city, and, well I am just tired of all this negative, scary, and fear producing crap. Tired of negative people. Tired of paying for their errors and irresponble behavor.

How long are we collectively going to take this crap?

Perhaps this is why I have not written much under the categorie of politics lately.

Ok Rant over for now.

And that is Why they Call it Fishing not Catching LOL

This is where I should have a lovely picture of a giant salmon. After spending all day up north trying ya would think . .. we did watch two nice guys  land two nice ones each. After spending all day standing in the water against the current I have decided that it should count for at least three days of balancing exercises.

I think we might just go catfishing tonight – I get to sit in a chair and chat with my friends – simple – easy – 🙂

The Last Few Days, Catching up and Catching fish, And Excuses for Murder

Well I am back to the blog after some riding and fishing. Wow! One ping back and thirty spams for casino’s.

Went on a nice ride about. Hit the usual small towns, Rancho Seco, the Sutter Buttes, and so on. Fished all Monday night into Tuesday morning. A couple of short coffee shop runs, a trip to the physical therapist, and then I spent most of today chasing the neighbors puppy and putting him back into their yard.

I admit it. I saw these ore cars running along the border of someones driveway entrance. They caught my eye because they sort of glowed in the setting sun’s light. I cut across the road and rode long the gravel on the wrong side of the road. Yep I did that. Then to make matters worse I made my poor friend Fe ride on the gravel and pull in front of the darn things. I now have more than one shot of me on the wrong side of the road taken by Fe to point out the evil thing I made here do and my bad riding the wrong way on the wrong side of the road.

I was watching a local news story on the latest developements on Sundays shooting of a man in front of a local video store. They have arrested five teens in connection with the slaying – one of them the son of the dead man – Vardan Abramyan, 19. Seems the 19 year old arranged to have his father killed. The following fourwere arraigned on charges of homicide with a special condition:

Isaiah Dupree Barron, 19, of Elk Grove

Arthur James Battle III, 18, of Sacramento

Jason McKinley Dillingham, 18, of Sacramento

Lawrence Stringer, 17, of Sacramento.

Yes mama’s don’t let your babies grow up to be murderers.

The latest local article is here:KXTV Sacramento

After reading the article I was pointed to by drumsnwhistles in her post

Someone – please reassure me – that the whole dang world has not gone crazy. That the norm is not acceptance of this isane behavior. I do not claim to have any solutions but I do know that something has got to change – hopefully for the better. Is it overpopulation, toxic effects on humans, the lack of the belief in God, the effects of drugs on genetics, or fill in your own idea here?

On the whole anthropologists and historians still debate the causes of the rise and fall of civiliztions. The opposite sides in the religious front seem to offer up their ideas too. Just do a google search for “history of demise of civilizations”. Click through a few pages of the topics and you see what I mean.

This kind of a catch up post. Here is a picture that demonstrates what happens after a motorcycle ride and four cups of coffee.

One Thing After Another and Speedy the Lucky Snail

I was so excited! A good nites sleep was due. The temperature outside – nice and cool. In the middle of nice cool dream bang boom and a lot of sound. The sound when ____ hits the fan. I thought oh my God somebody has finally driven through the townhouse. It was close – closer to my neighboors doorway. The older tattered white car backed up just as we got out the door. The front of the complex fence hanging in its radiator. It backed up and proceeded down the street with four flat fires and making all sorts of noises. No one was dressed, nobody had their wallets, keys, or glasses on – so the evil doers limped off into the sunrise.

Notice the bush branch on the ground – that is where they stopped – just short of the neighboors door.

Here you can see their entrance point – the stepping stones in the first picture came from the to right side of the walkway near the middle of the grass area.

We are back to the accountability issue again. Did you know that if you take out a fence and some lawn as long as you take off and leave – there are no consequences. Yep according to Sacramento PD it is nothing but simple vandalism. Good luck if the association did take them to court – I mean how do you prove who was driving?

I no longer wonder why people do not feel a twinge of responsibility – everywhere they turn the find out they are not. The message sent by our law enforcement/legal system is you will get away with it as long as you do not admit anything.

I almost forgot the section of fence to the right of the new damaged area was just replaced last Friday. Another vandal drove through it – one in a black Pathfinder with lic#XXXXXXX ( do not want to get sued for publishing the facts do I?).

I am so glad that my unit is farther down and hopefully out of the line of fire. The trend seems to be each hit is further to the left and closer to home. I also hope some of the trees and the light poles may slow em down when they head our way.
