  1. Well . … not exactly but . … it was a nice day weather wise and riding wise. Catfish, Annie, and I, ate corn chips, turkey, and mac and cheese – shh don’t tell on us but they do not have any scooby snacks left and their begging, piercing, cute little eyes got to me so . …

  2. Jan – I won’t tell on you. Skip and I used to tussle about what to feed the dogs. I grew up in a home where dogs were treated like dogs, eating once per day, no treats, no people food and the dogs never came in the house. (My father’s main purpose in having dogs was for hunting.) Now, I don’t want that life exactly for my pups as we treat them more like humans in many ways. But, on the food front, I don’t want them to eat people food. Skip wants to feed them parts of every meal she eats. I don’t agree, but I know how much pleasure it gives her, so I let it go. At least Ruby eats a bowl of dog food every night so she’s getting some nutrition!

    • In our household the thing is I am the one who won’t feed the furry friends a lot of people food. Our room mate never will – but KRP is the one that hands the scraps down off the table all the time LOL

So giving them the food was not the norm – boy their tales were wagging. I am not saying I do not give them a nibble here and there but usually not the complete meal.

Annie’s dog waits till KRP turns her back and if KRP has left her coffee cup on the floor by the couch (she uses a lot of creamer) Annie dog is there! Then I am stuck all day with a dog on caffeine – that so can not be good for her.
I am not sure maybe it would be easier to train the dog than the humom?
