I am not really a big user of YouTube but I do poke around on the site when I am – emmm – bored? But if you fish enough this video will remind you of something. If not – laugh anyway.

Annie is my two year old lab. Quite the character she has a garbage gut. Her moto is if it is there eat it! Leave a papertowel unattended – shredded and digested. Drop some people food – gone in seconds – gulp. The only exception as been (until now), she has never ever taken anything off the kitchen counter. I have seen with her front feet up on the counter drooling while looking at some form of food on a platter. She never took the next step – eating that food.
Last night she took the leap. While I was in the living room brushing out Catfish d dog she tasted the forbidden fruit. She ate the fried chicken. Not just one piece, not two, no! – eight pieces. Oh my! Bones and all. A dog eatin chicken bones is not a good thing. A dog the barfs when she gets too much grease that eats eight pieces of bacon grease fried chicken is really not a good thing.
There she lay stuffed to the max.
Of course, it once again is panic time. What do you watch for? Will it be a really bad thing? So, a call to the vet just to find out and hopefully gets some piece of mind. Apparently, this could be no big deal or a really big deal. We wait to see how it all comes out.

I have been playing around with different colors on the blog today and have activated gravatars. Now should I use a cartoon or someother representation or – gasp – a pic of the real me? I suppose this will all be moot if the plug in doesn’t work.
Since sights, smells, and sounds can trigger a memory, I will in the spirit of utilizing the blogoshere as a form of human intereaction – I will use the real me.
The background image I am using right now is from a photo I took at the de Young last fall. I believe the earthenware is dated ~300 BC – 300 AD and from the West Mexico area. I am trying to come up with a color scheme that matches the background without being dull. I seek vibrance!
