So far today I have connected with an old high school friend, connected our old phone up in the bedroom, and connected to my flash card (don’t ask).

The phone shown was given to us by our friend Ron Wallace right before AIDS got him. So it we have kept it for sentimental reasons.  I figured I really should have a tele near the bed just in case.  After trying out several with out finding one that still worked I remembered this one. WOW it works!

I am now on a mission to figure out how old it is and the manufacturer.  Anyone? I believe he said he thought it might be German?

Any way it actually hangs with the reliever down or upside down from what I would call typical.

I am going to our MS Group monthly dinner get together tonight.  The friend I connected with on facebook sent his phone number and a request to talk tonight. Bummer as I will be gone. I will call him tomorrow night. I am very excited about hooking up with him again. Gosh, he is one of the few friends  still alive from my junior and high school days that was a true friend.  We hung out and listened to records after school, did the birthday party things, and confided our deepest secrets to each other.

Our high school days were marked with the usual not fitting in and the tragedy of the bus wreck.

I can not wait to connect again.
